Titanic - Test Your Knowledge, my second iOS app, is an entertaining, challenging trivia game on the Titanic. It features over 300 well-researched questions about the famous ship and its infamous sinking. These questions are organized into three categories, based on their difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. In the app, users choose a skill category, as well the number of questions they want in the round, and then answer the questions until the round is over. At the end of each round, they are shown how many questions they answered correctly, and how many they answered incorrectly. The app also calculates a score for users based on what difficulty level the user was playing in. This score, too, is displayed to users at the end of each round, in the form of "passengers saved." This provides a fun incentive for users, because the more questions they answer correctly, the higher their score goes. Finally, after users view how many questions they answered correctly or incorrectly, and how many passengers they saved in the round, they can save their score. Or, they can simply return to the app's main screen, without saving their score. Scores are organized by difficulty level.
It is important to note that as users are progressing through a round answering questions, if they answer any incorrectly, the option is given to view the correct answer. This means that even if you don't know anything about the Titanic, you can still use and enjoy Titanic - Test Your Knowledge. You can still go through the questions and on the ones you answer incorrectly, you can view the correct answer and build up your knowledge of the Titanic!

- Over 300 interesting, well-researched questions about the Titanic and its sinking.
- 3 Difficulty Levels that the questions are organized into, based on how tough they are: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert.
- If you answer a question incorrectly, you can view the correct answer.
- At the end of each round, the app calculates a score for the round based on the number of questions answered correctly and incorrectly, as well as the difficulty level of that round. This score is in the form of "passengers saved."
- Once you're finished a round, view number of questions answered correctly and incorrectly, as well as score for the round.
- After viewing these stats, you can save your score if you'd like, then return to the main screen and start another round!
- Sound effects during each round of questions. (These can be turned off if you prefer not to hear them.)
Instructions/How to Use
- Open the app and wait for it to load. (Duh!)
- Choose one of the three difficulty levels that are shown on the main menu: Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert.
- After choosing a difficulty level, you will be taken to the next screen. On the screen is a slider, which you can use to select the number of questions you want in the round, from one to ten. Select the number you want, and then tap the "Start Game" button below the slider.
- After pushing "Start Game" you will be taken to your first question. Below the question are four buttons, each containing one of the choices/potential answers for the question. Read the question carefully and then look over the four choices. Pick the one you think is the correct answer.
- Once you pick an answer for the question, the app will tell you if you answered it correctly or incorrectly. If you answered it correctly,
- Continue to repeat this process of answering the questions until you come to the end of the round, which will happen when you've answered the number of questions you specified using the slider before you started the round.
- When you reach the end of the round, you will be taken to a new screen that shows your results for that round. Specifically, it will show you how many questions in that round you answered correctly, and how many you answered incorrectly. It will also show you your score for that round. Your score is calculated based on the difficulty level of the round. It is displayed in the form of "passengers saved."
- When you're finished viewing your results, you can save your score. To do so, you can enter your name into the text field, tap the Return key, and then tap the "Save Score" button. This will create a new player profile on the app. Or, you can tap the "Add Your Score To A Saved Player" button and then choose the already existing player you want to add your score too from the picker wheel that you are taken to. Then, tap "Save Me," and a list of high scores will be shown.
- If you want to delete any of the saved scores, just swipe your finger across the score and hit the Delete button that appears. You can't delete the last score in a section. The scores are available at any time by touching the "Scores" tab button on the Home Screen Tab Bar at the bottom.
